From October 22 to 25<\/strong>, during the International Graphics Biennale<\/strong>, the exhibition Ri-Leggere Operazione Arcevia. 1972-1976<\/strong><\/em> is on display at the Somaini Foundation<\/strong>; it is an Elp Design project by Maria Loreta Pagnani<\/strong>, in collaboration with Debora Lucidi, Marta Magagnini, and Lucio Tribellini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition is dedicated to Operazione Arcevia<\/em><\/strong>, a utopian project that envisioned the creation of an existential community in the Arcevia area. Spearheaded by entrepreneur Italo Bartoletti<\/strong> and conceived by architect Ico Parisi<\/strong>\u2014 with the support of curators and art critics Enrico Crispolti<\/strong> and Pierre Restany<\/strong>, as well as psychologist Antonio Miotto<\/strong> \u2014the project engaged thirty-three “aesthetic practitioners” drawn from the leading figures of the Italian and international cultural landscape, each contributing dedicated artistic projects. It was a pioneering initiative, presented at the Venice Biennale in 1976 and exhibited at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome in 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this process of discovery \u2014aimed at reopening the dialogue on an artistic, architectural, and social experiment\u2014 and of valorization, the exhibition engages in a dialogue with the works of Francesco Somaini<\/strong>, who took part in that experiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
