The Foundation was established in 2019, on the instructions of the artist himself, fourteen years after<\/p>\n\n\n\n
his death. Recognized by the Lombardy Region, it is based in Milan in Corso di Porta Vigentina 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Foundation has as its primary purpose the protection and enhancement of the Master\u2019s work and is also active in organizing cultural events relating the national and international art world, in establishing fruitful contacts with museums and institutions that preserve works by Somaini or that are interested in going further into the groundwork of his multiform creative research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The foundation is also active in the promotion of studies into art history and criticism and in creating critical and literary editions on the figurative arts, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, debates, projections<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
