The Somaini Foundation is pleased to take part in the FAI Spring Days on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March 2025.
The FAI Delegation of Como and the Young FAI Group of Como invite you to discover the hidden places in the Como area, including Lomazzo, the birthplace of the artist Francesco Somaini.
On Saturday 22 March at 3.30 p.m. the exhibition ‘Suggestioni da Francesco Somaini’ will be inaugurated, featuring sculptures created by the pupils of the Liceo Artistico Fausto Melotti at Fabbrica Contemporanea, via Cavour, 2 (Lomazzo). At 9 p.m., the conference ‘Francesco Somaini, the man and the artist’ will be held at ComoNExT Innovation Hub in via Cavour, 2 (Lomazzo).
On Sunday 23 March, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., following the urban itinerary curated by the pupils of the Liceo Melotti starting from via Cavour, 2 (Lomazzo), it will be possible to discover some of the sculptor’s works and visit the exhibition ‘Suggestioni da Francesco Somaini’.
