WORKSHOP BY RESERVATION
In the context of the exhibition Ri-Leggere Operazione Arcevia, Marta Magagnini and Maria Loreta Pagnani will hold the workshop Operazione Milano. Cartoline dal futuro on October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Fondazione Somaini.
The session begins by exploring visionary experiments from the 1970s, a time when architects designed cities that were impossible, infinite, mobile, or playful. Drawing inspiration from these examples, participants will envision a utopian city based on the real one, intervening directly on photographs and transforming them through drawing and collage; finally, they will create a 3D visualization in the form of a pop-up postcard.
The goal is to stimulate imaginative and critical thinking and to experience the design process not merely as a “correct” solution, but as a free—even revolutionary—creative act.
